Swedish Fashion and Design Stories

A image-based exhibition story on how craft practice, artistic approaches & societal aspirations have impacted the independent Swedish Fashion & Design scene ever since the millennium. The exhibition has so far been show casted in Istanbul, Amsterdam, Mexico City, Sarajevo, Guatemala City, Malmö and Stockholm and is planned for Cuba and Moscow. Fashion designer presented: Ann Sofie Back, Bea Szenfeld, Martin Bergström, Ulrika Elovsson, Patrik Söderstam, Minna Palmqvist, Lamija, Erik Bjerkesjö and Ida Klamborn. Designer presented in the exhibition: Ugly Cute, Zandra Ahl, Front, Åsa Jungnelius, Färg & Blanche, Samir Alj Fält, Märta Mattson, Örnsbergsauktionen and Transformator. Commissioner: the Swedish Institutet, project manager Jenny Bergström. Commissioned illustrations by Martin Bergström, My Hellsten & Erica Jacobsson. Field Photography by Carl Hjelte.
